I’m back with another quick hit book review.
My aim here is two-fold; 1. to document the books I’m reading and 2. to give you a quick rundown of a particular book so you can decide if you want to read it. I intend to keep these posts short so I don’t give away too much. Anyways, let me know what you think of these reviews by Tweeting me @trebrandjordan
How to Castrate a Bull: Unexpected Lessons on Risk, Growth, and Success in Business
By: Dave Hitz
What it’s about:
This book is about the journey that NetApp Co-Founder Dave Hitz took to grow his business. Unlike many startup founders, Dave was lucky to not get fired or bored. Because of this How to Castrate a Bull gives entrepreneurs an interesting perspective of how to both start a business and how to grow and sustain a business. The book offers some quick doses of insights and a few laughs. Overall, an easy read that is full of great advice.
When preparing to speak to an audience it’s best to think about what you want the audience to feel and do before you think about the content of your presentation.
