Over the next little while, I will be contributing to the world with yet another book review. My aim here is two-fold; 1. to document the books I’m reading as I hope you may like them and 2. to give you a quick rundown of a particular book so you can decide if you want to read it or not.

I intend to keep these posts short so as not to give away too much. I also want you to be able to decide with a quick glance here and then take action, go get the book or move on to other stuff. Anyways, let me know what you think of these reviews by Tweeting me @trebrandjordan

Contagious: Why Things Catch On
By: Jonah Berger

The book Contagious by Jonah Berger

What it’s about:
Contagious is a book about ideas and how they become popular. It shares many insights into how you can take an idea or concept and make it spread. It offers an easy to remember model that is backed by great examples from real products that have made it to the top. Jonah Berger also shares the opposite view and how some products didn’t catch on.

Biggest takeaway:
If Rebecca Black’s Friday wasn’t named Friday I may never have heard such a terrible song.
