Staying fit and healthy is a core part of longevity in one’s career. Food plays a significant role in your ability to maintain your health, and if you’re looking to take your health to the next level, you need to focus on what you put into your body.

Anita Bean’s book is focused on food for people who want to fuel their workouts but I believe there are some good tidbits for non-athletes as well.

The Whistler by John Grisham – Book Knowledge Share

Always a page turner, John Grisham’s The Whistler is typical of the author. Following some odd activity, judicial corruption investigators look for wrongdoing.

As with my other book knowledge share videos, here I give you some key takeaways on how you can be more successful. I think it’s important to look for nuggets of learning in both fiction and non-fiction books. It forces you to be creative and puts you in the shoes of the characters, too.

The Long Haul by Finn Murphy – Book Knowledge Share

With the book knowledge share, I read a broad range of books in hope that I can share knowledge across many aspects of life, business, creativity, and leadership. This book is one of those books that seem off the beaten path but surprises you in its quality and depth.

After reading the Long Haul I had a better understanding of the trucking industry, something I didn’t expect to learn. What I also received from reading the book was an appreciation for others and a few life lessons as well.

Writing Without Bullshit by Josh Bernoff – Book Knowledge Share

In business, we write all the time. Whether it’s an email or business proposal it’s wise for us to know how to write well.

Unfortunately, as the author explains, we have a tendency to write in a way that doesn’t help us get our point across effectively. We write in a way that’s easy for the writer and not for the reader. Writing Without Bullshit shares how to go about writing in a way that makes your words more powerful and persuasive.
